Privacy Policy

1. About this policy and who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Niutech Pty Ltd (ABN 91 691 210 429), a company registered in New South Wales, Australia ("Niutech", "we", "us"), collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information when you visit niutech.ai and join our waitlist.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). If you access our site from the EU/UK, additional rights described in Section 9 may apply to you.

This policy currently covers our marketing website and early-access waitlist. When we launch the Niutech product (accounts, teams and the software factory), we will expand this policy to cover product data and notify you of material changes.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you join the waitlist, you provide your email address. If you contact us (e.g. by email), we receive whatever information you choose to include.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically record limited technical data needed to serve and secure the site — for example your IP address, browser/device type, and request timestamps (server logs). We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Cookies. We use only the strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function and be secure. We do not set marketing or analytics cookies at this time. If that changes, we will update Section 10 and, where required, ask for your consent.

Information from third parties. We do not currently buy or receive personal information about you from third parties.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• add you to our waitlist and contact you about early access to Niutech;
• respond to your enquiries;
• operate, secure, and improve the website (e.g. prevent abuse, diagnose problems); and
• comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Legal bases (for EU/UK visitors)

Where the GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (joining the waitlist); our legitimate interests (operating and securing the site, responding to you); and legal obligation where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time (Section 9).

5. When we disclose your information

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and only as needed to run the site: Vercel Inc. (website hosting and delivery) and Supabase Inc. (database that stores waitlist sign-ups);
• Authorities or others where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property;
• A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (you will be notified).

We do not disclose your information for any other purpose without your consent.

6. Overseas / international transfers

Our providers may store and process data outside Australia (for example in the United States or the EU). Where we transfer personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs and, where applicable, use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses).

7. How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist email until the earlier of: you ask us to remove it, or we close/retire the waitlist. Technical logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operations.

8. How we protect your information

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including transport encryption (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.

9. How to access and control your information

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct it if it is inaccurate;
• Delete it / unsubscribe from the waitlist;
• Withdraw consent at any time; and
• (EU/UK) object to or restrict processing, and request portability.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@niutech.ai and we will respond within a reasonable time (and within any statutory timeframe). We may need to verify your identity first.

10. Cookies and tracking

As noted in Section 2, we currently use only strictly necessary cookies and no analytics/advertising trackers. This section will be updated with a cookie list and consent controls if that changes.

11. Children's privacy

The Niutech website and waitlist are intended for business users and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
